Being grown up means

Being grown up is about more than knowing how to pay your bills and manage practical parts of life. It means that you don’t do the exact same thing or the exact opposite think your parents did, you find your own way, make choices independent from what they would do, you’re not conforming or rebelling and have enough clarity to know what is best for you and implement that . It means not looking for an external savior to fix your life, or blame for your problems, like religion, money, government, your boss, your spouse, your neighbor or idol, or an ideology.

It means making independent decisions that are grounded in who you truly are

and that begins with discovering who you truly are.
